We’re thrilled to share our brand-new Christmas single, “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore You,” featuring our daughter Ziza Forever Mohr on lead vocals. This marks the very first time she fully produced and engineered her own vocals and harmonies—and she absolutely nailed it!
The track also includes beautiful harmonies from Avion and fresh original Dancehall deejay vocals from me (Mark Mohr). All instrumentation was performed by Renato Taimes, and the song was comped, edited, tuned, mixed, and co-produced by Jah Pickney, who worked some major miracles—especially on my vocals, as I was still recovering from a shot voice after our mission to Kenya.
I first came up with this song concept the day after Christmas last year, and it has been sitting on the hard drive waiting for just the right time to release—and that time is now.
Mastering was done by Solomon Jabby, and I had a blast creating the album cover and lyric video to bring this vision to life.
We pray this song brings joy and brightness into your home this Christmas season.
